1. Illegal
Immigration: Mr. Guiliani, during a recent
interview on Hannity & Colmes you failed to
answer whether you supported construction of the
700-mile long border fence authorized under the
Secure Fence Act of 2006. You said you supported
a "technological" fence. What about an actual
physical barrier? You also stated during the same
interview that you thought "there has to be
regularization for the people that are here (illegal
aliens)…" Is it fair to assume then that as
president you would support legislation similar to
the Kennedy-McCain bill that would have provided
amnesty to the 12-20 million illegal aliens in this
country currently?
2. Gun Control: During an interview on
the Charlie Rose Show on May 31, 1995 you
implied that the NRA was an "extremist"
organization in opposing some of the gun control
laws you support such as the Brady Bill and
so-called Assault Weapons Ban. Why should the 90
million gun owners and the 4 million members of the
NRA support you for president given your consistent
support of gun control laws including your support
for written tests for all gun owners? Also, can you
explain how stricter gun control laws reduce crime,
since criminals don't abide by the law anyway?
3. Roe v Wade: During a recent
presidential debate you stated that it "would be
okay" if Roe v. Wade were overturned. But you
also stated that it would be ok if "a
strict-constructionist judge" viewed Roe as a
precedent. I'm confused. Which is it? As president,
would it be your wish to see Roe overturned or not?

bestseller "Conservative Comebacks to Liberals Lies."
Let's say you're listening to a loony liberal, debating some
dopey Democrat, or arguing with a gaggle of goofy lefties.
Wouldn't it be great to have the facts to combat all those
liberal lies? Well,
here it finally is.

4.
Abortion: You say you are personally opposed to
abortion but respectful of a "women's right to
choose" to have an abortion. Why do you
personally oppose abortion if abortion does not kill
an actual living human being? And if you believe
that abortion kills a developing baby in the womb
why wouldn't you support laws which would protect
that baby's inalienable right to life as guaranteed
under our Constitution?
5. Strict Constructionist?: As mayor of
New York City, you appointed 75 judges -- of which
Democrats outnumbered Republicans 8-1 -- including
an officer of the International Association of
Lesbian and Gay Judges. You have received praise for
your judicial nominations from Kelli Conlin, the
head of NARAL Pro-Choice New York, the state's
leading abortion-rights group. How do you reconcile
your record of nominating liberal judges as mayor
with your recent promise to a group of South
Carolina Republicans that as president you "would
want judges who are strict constructionists because
[you are]," and that you would appoint judges
like "Scalia, Alito and Roberts."?
6. Free Speech: When you were thinking
about running for senate in New York in 2000 you
told Wolf Blitzer that you were a "very, very
strong supporter of Campaign Finance Reform,"
and that you've been "a very strong supporter of
McCain-Feingold for a long, long time now." Many
conservatives and Republicans believe that
McCain-Feingold was one of the greatest government
infringements of core 1st Amendment political speech
in our nation's history. The Supreme Court recently
struck some key provisions of McCain-Feingold. Are
you still a "very, very strong supporter?"
7. Family Values: Mr. Guiliani, why
should those who are concerned about the sanctity of
marriage in our country and family values in
general, support someone who had an adulterous
relationship with another woman while serving as
mayor and who has been married three times?
8. Same-Sex Marriage: In 1998, as mayor
of New York City, you signed into law a domestic
partnership bill that a gay rights group, the Empire
State Pride Agenda, lauded as setting "a new
national benchmark for domestic partner
recognition." You have consistently supported
"civil unions" for homosexual couples which are
essentially the same as marriage. Yet in April of
this year you suddenly reversed your position
stating that you opposed civil unions. Can you
please clarify why you are now opposed and explain
why you don't support same-sex marriage?
